Hi, I am Stephanos Kritikos, the
director and owner of the company
Superlative Catering Ltd.

Metaxas is
my first restaurant in Cyprus and I
would like to add my own personality
and creativity into the menus.
Although born in Cyprus to Cypriot
parents, I grew up in Italy, the
home of fine cuisine. Combine this
with Cypriot hospitality and you
will understand why I chose to study
as an Executive Chef.
So, at the age of 18, I left for
University in Essex, England. I
found a job in a top restaurant in
Westcliff-on-Sea and was employed as
a second chef. Within a short time I
was promoted and took over the
position as Head Chef. In 2000 I was
voted the 5* Essex Executive Chef
Winner by "Mystery Diners". Since
then I have worked both as an
Executive Chef and Manager.

About Us
Metaxas is our first restaurant in Cyprus and we would like
add our own personality and creativity into the menu.
Together with the classic METAXAS specialities which are
still on the menu, we are introducing an extensive new menu
which includes fish specialities, special steaks, succulent
chicken, duck and lamb dishes, healthy salad options, home
made pasta as well as home made puddings and cakes.
You can even create your own meal!!
To accompany our dishes we have an extensive cava with local
and imported wines. Stephanos - the new owner, would like to
introduce himself and his cuisine with an early birds dinner
20% discount on all orders placed before 7.15pm. (If payment
is by credit card then only 15% discount will apply.)
Children are welcome and they have their own special menu to
choose from.
Metaxas restaurant can cater for 120 people outside, up to
80 on the ground floor and up to 50 on the first floor. The
first floor of our restaurant can be arranged/ booked for
private or splendour special occasions. It is fully
air-conditioned, there is a large separate WC area and
outside there is cover from the sun and ceiling fans.
Metaxas Restaurant is non-smoking but we can provide our
customers with a separate smoking area.
Payment can be made in Sterling English pounds with no
commission charge.

April - November 6.00pm to 11pm daily.
December - March 6.00pm to 11pm (Closed on Thursday's)
